Junk Jam!

As part of the Manchester Day Parade 2012, No Eyed Theatre participated as a lead artist with "Global Grooves" to help create their section of the parade. For this we created 167 handmade masks, and two large steel constructed heads over a short time scale, working alongside "Cabasa" who created the textiles. The masks were also used as part of "Global Grooves" participation in the Manchester Jazz Festival later that same year, where No Eyed Theatre also helped in the creation of extra dancer costumes. Below are a selection of photographs taken from the events.
